Apply to a TnCIS Program

Students interested in applying to a TnCIS program need to create a user account. Detailed steps for different users are below. Not ready yet? Explore study abroad options by clicking on the program search button below!

Create a User Account and Login


Pellissippi State Students
Follow the steps below to create a user account if you are a currently enrolled student at Pellissippi State.
 
  1. Click the ‘Apply Now’ button on a program page or 'Login' and then 'Create Account'.
  2. Select: Login with MyPellissippi ID 
  3. Login with your MyPellissippi username and password.  
  4. If you clicked 'Apply now' you will be asked to select the term in which you wish to go abroad.
  5. If you created a new user account from the 'Login' button, search available programs to start an application.
Once you begin an application, complete each required item until they move to "Completed Requirements" at the bottom of the application page. Once all items are checked off as complete, click ‘Submit Application’ by the deadline.

Please Note: You do not have to complete the entire application all at once. You can complete part or all of each element and save for future use. If you have already started an application and wish to return to view it again, click 'Login' to open your Student Portal. Then, click on the house icon and 'Applicant' to see your application(s) and finish the process. 

 

Non-Pellissippi State Students
Follow the steps below to create a user account if you are not a currently enrolled student at Pellissippi State.
 
  1. Click the ‘Apply Now’ button on a program page or 'Login' on the homepage.
  2. Next to New User? click 'Create Account'.
  3. Follow the instructions on the next pages to set up your account. Please note, you will be asked to provide some basic information about yourself and your academic status to complete your profile during the application process.
  4. If you clicked 'Apply now' you will be asked to select the term in which you wish to go abroad.
  5. If you created a new user account from the 'Login' button, search available programs to start an application.
Once you begin an application, complete each required item until they move to "Completed Requirements" at the bottom of the application page. Once all items are checked off as complete, click ‘Submit Application’ by the deadline.

Faculty and Administrators
As a faculty or administrator, you will have the option to apply for programs such as the TnCIS Conference, Professional Development and to teach in a TnCIS Program. To create a user account follow these steps.
 
  1. Click the ‘Apply Now’ button on your program page or 'Login' and then 'Create Account'.
  2. For PSCC faculty/staff: select Login with MyPellissippi ID.
  3. For non-PSCC faculty/staff: register as a user and select Log in with Portal Account for subsequent logins.   
Once you have a user account, you can apply to a program. Follow all instructions to complete the requirements for your selected program. You will be able to manage your applications through a portal similar to that of students. See either of the Please Note details above for more information. Other Users
Anyone interested in applying for a TnCIS program who is not a student, faculty, or administrator will have to apply for the program and follow the prompts for creating a user account and login. Programs such as Cultural Tours require all applicants create user accounts for participation. Contact TnCIS if you have any questions at tncis@pstcc.edu
