Apply to a TnCIS Program

Students interested in applying to a TnCIS program should begin by searching for their program of interest using the Program Search button on the TnCIS homepage or below. Each program page has an "Apply Now" button to begin the application process. After clicking on the 'Apply Now' button of the desired program, the software will prompt you to create an account if you are a new user. Get started by clicking on the program search button below!

Create a User Account and Login


Pellissippi State Students
After clicking the 'Apply Now' button, the software will prompt you to login using your MyPellissippi username and password.  You do not need to create a new username or password.  Basic profile data about you such as your name, DOB, major, GPA, etc. will be automatically populated from the PSCC student information system.  This information is view-only and cannot be edited in the software directly.  Any changes that need to be made must be made by emailing the TnCIS office at tncis@pstcc.edu.
 
  1. Find the program to which you wish to apply and click the ‘Apply Now’ button from that page.
  2. You will be asked to login or create a new user account. Select, Login with MyPellissippi ID to set up your account. 
  3. Login with your MyPellissippi username and password.  You do not need to create a new username or password.
  4. Select the term in which you wish to go abroad.
  5. You will be presented with the various elements of the application that are required for the program to which you are applying.  Complete each item until each one is moved to "Completed Requirements" at the bottom of the application page. Once all items are checked off as complete, click the ‘Submit Application’ button at the top of the page.  You do not have to complete the entire application all at once.  You can complete part or all of each element and save for future use.  Once you have a check mark for a particular item, if you log out of the software, you will not lose what you have already done.
Please Note: If you have already started an application and wish to return to view it again or continue to work on it, click on the Pellissippi User Login link at the top right of the main webpage and login.  Your application page will show all applications you have previously started and you can continue to work on them from there.

Non-Pellissippi State Students
After clicking on the 'Apply Now' button of the desired program, and indicate that you wish to create a user account, you will be prompted to provide basic data about yourself (name, email, date of birth, gender, etc.).  Temporary login credentials will be emailed to you.  You will use those to log into the software for the first time, and upon login, will be prompted to create your own password at that time.  Your username will remain your full email address throughout the application process.
 
  1. Find the program to which you wish to apply and click the ‘Apply Now’ button from that page.
  2. You will be asked if you already have login credentials for the software. If you do, login by clicking on "Log in with Portal Account". If you are a new user, follow the steps to create your account to set up your username and password.
  3. You will be prompted to provide basic data about yourself such as name, DOB, email address, gender, home institution name, etc.  Once this is completed, you will be directed to your online program application.
  4. Select the term in which you wish to go abroad.
  5. You will be presented with some additional data that needs to be completed about yourself, such as your GPA, major, ethnicity, class year, etc.  Complete all required items and as many option items as you wish.
  6. Next, you will be presented with the various elements of the application that are required for the program to which you are applying.  Complete each item until each one is moved to "Completed Requirements" at the bottom of the application page. Once all items are checked off as complete, click the ‘Submit Application’ button at the top of the page. You do not have to complete the entire application all at once.  You can complete part or all of each element and save for future use.  Once you have a check mark for a particular item, if you log out of the software, you will not lose what you have already done.
Please Note: If you have already started an application and wish to return to view it again or continue to work on it, click on the Non-TnCIS Pellissippi User Login link at the top right of the main web page and login.  Your application page will show all applications you have previously started and you can continue to work on them from there.

Faculty and Administrators
As a faculty or administrator, you will have the option to apply for programs such as the TnCIS Conference, Professional Development and to teach in a TnCIS Program. You will need to click on the 'Apply Now' button on the relevant page and follow the prompts to create a user account and login. Pellissippi State faculty and administrators will select the option to Log in with MyPellissippi ID. Faculty and administrators from other institutions will need to select the option Log in with Portal Account or if a new user, create account. You will be able to manage your applications through a portal similar to that of students. If you have any questions, please contact us at tncis@pstcc.edu

Other Users
Anyone interested in applying for a TnCIS program who is not a student, faculty or administrator will have to apply for the program and follow the prompts for creating a user account and login. Programs such as Cultural Tours require all applicants create user accounts for participation. Contact TnCIS if you have any questions at tncis@pstcc.edu
