abroad with TnCIS!
You must first complete the online application before you can access your
student portal. This page will give you instructions for using the TnCIS
Student Portal. The portal gives students unlimited access 24/7 to view
what documents and payments have been received by TnCIS as well as what is
still missing from your file.
The Student Portal information is view only. Any updates
or changes to information must be made by emailing the TnCIS office with the

The password you entered on your TnCIS application will also be used. Please
be aware that if you apply for more than one program, you must use a different
password for each application. Send an email with an updated password to
TnCIS if you have already applied and given the same password for both.

in the student portal, you will have view only access to the

Read the information in this section every time you enter the portal.
The progress bar at the top of the page will track the percentage of the
process completed as documents and payments are received. You should
reach 100% completion no later than a few weeks before your program begins.

Phase I: In this phase, you
will submit the required documents TnCIS needs to determine your
acceptance into a study abroad program. Each document will be updated as COMPLETE
once it has been received. TnCIS will send out acceptance decisions in mid-December for early applicants who have completed Phase I.
Phase II: In this phase, you will submit the
five required documents (Original Medical Surrogacy, Original Agreement,
Medical History, Rules of Conduct, and Passport Copy). You must submit
original signed and notarized Medical Surrogacy and Agreement forms.
These documents require a notary stamp and signature and cannot be
copies. Medical History and Rules of Conduct forms are not notarized and
do not have to be original documents. Each document will be updated as
COMPLETE once it has been received. You must also submit a copy of
your Passport picture page by the mandatory orientation.
Visas: Programs currently requiring a visa for US citizens include
Brazil, China, Cuba, India and Turkey. DO NOT apply for a
tourist visa until after receiving instructions from your Program Director at
the orientation in March. A copy of any required visa must be
submitted no later than 2 weeks prior to the program departure date. If
you are a non-US citizen, please read the information on this page for more
instructions regarding visas.
Your Application: In this section, you can view the information
you submitted online. You must update TnCIS by email if any of this
information changes during the process. TnCIS will make updates to the
application only if submitted by email.
