All TnCIS programs are academic in nature and course work that takes advantage of the program location will be the central focus. Programs offered by TnCIS through any member institution are in keeping with SACSCOC policies for each respective institution where compliance is monitored at the institutional level. TnCIS program courses are for credit only.
In France, students will enroll in ONE course. For more information about each of these courses, including pre-requisites and syllabi, use the button provided below.
The program offers students an experience of French culture, history, and lifestyle through courses where Paris is your classroom. Students may study Music, Film, History, Statistics, Poetry Writing, or American Literature. In-class instruction and field trips create a truly adventurous and one-of-a-kind educational experience.
Please note: Be aware that study abroad programs require a great deal of walking. Even though we will ride the Paris subway, students should be prepared to climb long flights of stairs (sometimes carrying all your luggage) and to walk several miles each day. Stairs may be steep; walkways may be cobblestoned, uneven, and slippery. Air conditioning is not commonly available throughout Europe. You do not need to be able to speak French.
Excursions May Include:
