Passport Information for 2012 TnCIS Applicants

Students who do not have a passport need to submit an application to the US Passport Services early in order to have it back in plenty of time for your study abroad program. Participants must have a passport in hand with a copy given to TnCIS by March 24, 2012 (same date as the student pre-departure orientation).  Please go to the passport website at http://travel.state.gov/passport/passport_1738.html to get information on where and how to submit your application. Passports are valid for 10 years from the date of issue. It is in your best interest to apply for the passport early even though acceptance notification for TnCIS programs will not go out until mid December for Early Acceptance or after the February 9, 2012 deadline.
